Back to Better Things

O.k....now that I'm done with filing taxes (UGH! DOUBLE UGH!!) and shearing the two remaining ewes before they lamb, I can get back to some more pleasant activities....like watching the lambs and spinning. I still have a section of work to do for my Master Spinner Program and that's the next task. I need to get that done because I'm already enrolled in the next level and will be heading up to Alberta, Canada in June. My goal was to have this year's work completed and submitted before the lambs arrived...ah, NOT. So upcoming posts should be fiber related.

I also just finished putting together a blog for one of the spinning guilds that I'm in, Flock U(niversity). We celebrated our one year anniversary with a skein exchange, food, fiber, and fun. April's meeting is going to be out at our farm so the group can get a close up of the lambs and looks at various fleeces and my seven antique spinning wheels (including two walking/great wheels).
